Theatre in English workshop
Course 2023-2024
Theatre in English workshop is an interactive and entertaining way to learn English. All the classes, rehearsals and performances are in English.
Theatre in English workshop includes both acting training and language practice. It is aimed at the development of communication skills and presentation in public and is focused mostly on speaking skills.
The classes include exercises on:
– acting,
– vocal technique,
– improvisation,
– movement,
– pronunciation.
We will study basic concepts of acting:
– stage presence,
– action and reaction,
– interaction with the space,
– urgency,
– dramatic image,
– receptiveness,
– constructionof characters
– passions, states, emotions.
This course is open for all the interested in theatre, previous experience in acting is not required, and is a perfect opportunity to make the first steps in acting. During the course students rehearse a theatre play in English and then perform it in public.

Performance end of the course 2022-2023
At the end of the course our students of Theatre Workshop in English performed in public the musical “Chicago” by Fred Ebb and Bob Foss, directed by Anna Tereshchenko, the teacher of the workshop.
Students from different countries participated in the workshop (France, Bulgaria, Finland, Venezuela).
It was a brilliant mixture of acting, movement, singing, dance and construction of characters. Apart from the main characters every student performed as well one or more secondary characters.
We are excited to work are create with this wonderful international team, very dedicated, enthusiastic and in love with theatre!
