Angel Bonora director

Angel Bonora, the director of TEATRACCIÓ International Theatre School. Completes his studies at The International Theatre School of Jacques Lecoq where afterwards realises LEM (Laboratory of the study of movement) (Paris, 1990 – 1994).

In 1994 graduates from the Institute of the Teatre Studies – Universidad Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III, where he meets Bernard Grosjean the director of the company Entrées de Jeu specialized at the theatre of social intervention, with whom collaborates during 6 months providing artistic training of the actor´s team.

In 1997 he participates in the XIII stage de commedia dell’arte directed by Antonio Fava in Reggio Emília, Italy. At the same time, he participates as an actor in various productions presented in Spain, England and France.

His teaching experience starts at Maison de la Culture de Vincennes (France) where he works as a teacher of acting during 1991-1993. During this period he imparts theatre courses in Valencia, highlighting the course of the improvisation to creation at the International Exhibition of Mime in Switzerland, in collaboration with Jacques Lecoq.

During the period of 1995 – 2002 he imparts courses of Physical training, Analysis of movement and Stage space, and directs various workshops of Commedia dell’arte at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.

Since 1995 he has been a permanent teacher at Escuela Internacional de Teatro Estudis Berty Tovías in Barcelona.

In 2000 Àngel Bonora stimulates the creation of the organization “Teatracció” and currently he is the artistic director of the company.

In 2023 he played the lead in the movie «Bloodsucker» directed by Boris Stout, shot on Santorini, Greece and in 2022 he acted in the movie “My generation” directed by Emmanuel Mandilaras, shot in Athens, Greece, awarded as the best short fiction film by London Greek Film Festival 2022.
